UAE health authorities have released a complete list of clinics and hospitals where people can get vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine. This week a voluntary vaccination campaign began in Abu Dhabi which has now been extended to include Dubai and Northern Emirates.

Sinopharm vaccine, which has shown 86% efficacy according to UAE regulators, is available at all clinics managed by Abu Dhabi’s public health operator, SEHA, and the hospitals which are run by private firm VPS Healthcare.

In Dubai, residents can get the vaccine jab at Dubai Parks and Resorts field hospital near Jebel Ali.

In Sharjah, vaccine is available at Wasit Medical Centre from 4pm to 9pm.

In Ajman, people can visit Al Humaidiya Centre from 9am to 12.30pm and from 5pm to 8.30pm.

Al Bait Metwahid centre in Umm Al Quwain and Murashied Medical Centre in Fujairah have the vaccine for the public.

The UAE had approved China's Sinopharm vaccine for Covid-19 after it was deemed effective for use post Phase-3 trials. On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health said it had approved China’s Sinopharm “in a major step towards combating the global pandemic”. The Sinopharm vaccine had underwent clinical trials on a large scale in the UAE in summer campaign participated by 31,000 people.

Residents can get vaccinated by visiting the government clinics and health centres in Abu Dhabi from 8am to 8pm. Appointments can be fixed through Abu Dhabi health centres and clinics network run by SEHA. Appointments can be booked by calling 80050. A message played before the main menu options provides residents with an option to book an appointment.

The vaccine constitutes two jabs to be given 21 days apart.
