UAE-based Capital University College has announced to offer up to 50 percent discount on tuition fees to residents who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. In addition, the entrepreneurship-oriented university is offering a flat 50 percent discount on tuition fees for healthcare professionals in the medical field and their families.

The higher education institution has asserted that this initiative aims to instil a sense of responsibility among society. At the same time, the university aims to hail the efforts of medical heroes who have demonstrated extraordinary courage and sacrifice during the ongoing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the UAE. 

According to a statement, the higher education institution "acknowledges and supports” the efforts of healthcare professionals by granting a bursary worth up to Dh15,000. Vaccinated individuals from various programmes can present their vaccination certificate to avail the offer.

“Ranging from undergraduate programmes to doctorate, vaccinated individuals can simply present their vaccine card to avail this offer,” the varsity noted
