UAE Signs Up With Israel For Covid-19 Vaccine Research

The Abu Dhabi based company APEX National Investment has been quick to announce the signing of a strategic commercial agreement with an Israeli based TeraGroup to develop research and studies on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Post pandemic, as life is coming back to normalcy, the struggle to find the best possible medication to fight the Covid-19 disease is still on. UAE has been successful in containing its number of cases of contractions due to stringent monitoring and timely preventive medical treatment provided.

The agreement was recently signed by Khalifa Yousef Khouri, Chairman of APEX National Investment, and Oren Sadiv, Chairman & CEO of TeraGroup in an august gathering at the headquarters of Al Qudra Holding in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Under the joint agreement, the two companies will be conducting and enhancing research and studies related to Corona virus (COVID-19). They will also be moving towards developing a Corona virus testing device that will significantly contribute towards speeding up the testing process, facilitating it, and providing it with high accuracy and high throughput to everyone in accordance with the best international practices.

The APEX National Investment is known to have pioneered in making investments in the field of medicine. They specialize in public investment projects with the aim of equipping medical facilities with necessary high-standard equipment. The company has helped in gathering important Covid-19 related field data to support laboratories with their research and studies to develop the desired vaccine to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.

On its part, the TeraGroup’s BioSafety testing is known for its testing facilities in selected countries around the world, including the Emirates Field Hospital in Abu Dhabi, with plans to expand the testing to cover the entire UAE.
