UAE’s Ajman to extend working hours to keep economy on track

Ajman’s economic department released a statement on Thursday extending the working hours of the people even during the holy month of Ramadan.

The department said that the working hours have been extended till 4 AM in the emirates for economic activities. But even during this time, the emirate’s authorities stressed that all the covid-19 measures have to be followed.

To ensure that proper coronavirus measures are being followed by the community members, the supervisory committee will be withered. It will be responsible for the inspection of campaigns.

The statement from the Ajman authorities also noted that those violating the rules will have to bear administrative and legal measures against them.

Muslims throughout the emirate has been observing fastings for Ramadan, which started on Tuesday, April 13. Ramadan requires you to fast for 14 hours continuously from dawn till dusk.

Muslims celebrate Eid-Al-Fitr at the end of Ramadan and this year, as per the calendar, the Eid Al Fitr break will be allotted from 29th Ramadan to 3rd of Shawaal, which is the 10th month of the Islamic calendar.

If Ramadan lasts for 29 days then the residents will be getting four days for a break. This will be from Tuesday to Friday towards the end. In the scene where Ramadan lasts for 30 days, the UAE employees will be getting a five daybreak.
