Muhammad Al Jubayri, Chairman of the Asian-African Organisation for Human Rights, has lauded the efforts of the UAE and its leadership in ensuring the availability of COVID-19 vaccines to the largest possible number of citizens and residents. In addition, Al Jubayri praised the UAE's initiatives to support and assist in worldwide efforts to distribute billions of vaccines with the aim of combating the COVID-19 crisis at the global level.
Issuing a statement, the Chairman of the Asian-African Organisation for Human Rights noted that the UAE administered more than 12 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines across the country. He underlined that it is a great achievement reflecting the success of the UAE’s leadership in strengthening community awareness with the aim of achieving herd immunity and accelerating recovery from the pandemic.
Al Jubayri further asserted that the UAE achieved the first rank globally in terms of its pace of launching the national vaccination campaign as well as successfully administering the programme to boost public confidence in the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines across the country. The UAE has made all possible efforts to ensure its entire population gets vaccinated against the COVID-19 disease.
In the statement, he felicitated the success of the national vaccination programme in administering a record number of vaccine doses to the UAE leadership's vision and directives along with the continuous efforts of the health sector and frontline workers.
"The UAE, through the vision and direction of its leadership and the concerted efforts of all its institutions, is moving steadily towards recovery from the pandemic," Al Jubayri said.
