Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will be leading the high-ranking delegation of the UAE to Washington on September 15 for the signing ceremony of the historic UAE-Israeli peace accord. Sheikh Abdullah will be heading the UAE delegation to Washington at the invitation of US President Donald Trump. The ceremony will take place in the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Known as the Abraham Accord, the peace deal was agreed upon by the UAE, Israel and the US on August 13 with the aim to de-escalate tensions and conflicts within the Middle East region.
