The United Arab Emirates is steadily going forward with its aim to vaccinate the entire population of the country. The health care officials are working towards reaching this common goal and the same was stressed by the health sector spokesperson Dr. Farida Al Hosani.
All the relevant national institutions have come together to support the community and ensure that safety guidelines are being followed in the country as the country progresses towards achieving planned goals.
The spokesperson noted that the UAE has established a very active approach in handling this situation of national crisis as it became one of the first countries in the world to start the vaccine administration free of charge for its whole population. Not only vaccination but the UAE officials also enforced strong, strict measures followed by effective planning strategies that would ultimately ensure the country was safe and secure.
The top healthcare official was present at the regular briefing held on every Tuesday by the authorities and spoke regarding the pandemic at stretch. She said that despite the administration of the vaccine in place, the officials have not let go of the danger that the pandemic poses and have continued to test people in order to curb the spread of the pandemic.
From the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic till now, the data shows that over 35.5 million tests have been conducted and daily many tests are being conducted all around the Emirati nation. Other than that, Al Hosani also mentioned the application developed to track the vaccination status of the user.
Al Hosn is a national digital application that has information about the Covid-19 pandemic and was recently updated to provide further information about the vaccine status. It also lets you know about the nearby centers where the vaccines are being administered. Even with the announcements of news coronavirus variants the UAE has been very careful in various regards and made sure that entry in the country is not being granted without a proper check-up.
A national team to track the variants of the virus was formed and its world at par with all the international developments that have been taking place. The team is working in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) and other top health institutions to study the viral mutations of the virus.
Each sector is reopening but with proper measures to ensure that the virus doesn't spread among the population. She stressed that there is the safe resumption of all the activities in all sectors and the officials are well aware that there must be accurate strategies in place to make sure safety practices.
Along with that, the country is also keeping an eye on several indexes to help the authorities make better decisions in the coming days. The department is also monitoring the efficiency of the vaccines and has till now gathered that it is effective in preventing severe symptoms of the disease and also help in reducing death rates in the country.
She concluded her address by saying that each member of the community should be responsible and adhere to the preventive measures set by the authority especially during the Holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
