Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, recently held a telephonic conversation with Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias during when the two leaders held discussions on various issues. According to state news agency WAM, Sheikh Abdullah and Nikos Dendias held talks on bilateral ties between the UAE and Greece, as well as ongoing developments in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
Stressing the significance of respecting international law, both sides went on to condemn any actions that can threaten the stability in the Eastern Mediterranean region,
Sheikh Abdullah further congratulated Dendias on the signing of the agreement between Egypt and Greece demarcating the maritime borders between the two countries. The UAE minister asserted that the agreement will help in enhancing stability in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
In addition, Sheikh Abdullah laid emphasis on the strong ties and ongoing cooperation between the UAE and Greece with the support of their wise leadership.
