Under the directives of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the Executive Council of the Sharjah on Tuesday issued permission to resume social events in halls, homes and hotels. The permission is granted with effect from November 1.

The decision would allow any social event being held in a hall or hotel, to be carried out following all Covid-19 precautionary guidelines that are issued by Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah. Furthermore, any event held at home would require approval from nearest suburban council.

The decision has also laid down specifications regarding controls, precautionary requisites and preventive measures to ensure safety and health of all events attendees. The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah would announced the details later.
