The Local Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management team in Sharjah have decided to keep learning completely online for all public and private schools until the Spring Semester ends.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Sharjah Private Education Authority, the management team agreed to continue distance learning for all students in schools, and in public and private nurseries, until the end of the spring semester.
The decision has come as an extension of wise leadership’s zeal to ensure the safety and health of students and the facility of apt alternative ways to continue remote learning.
With help of the Executive Committee for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management, the local team continues its campaign of raising multilingual awareness via drones to educate the community on the need of following the preventive measures and protocols to limit the spread of Covid-19.
The committee called on all community members to follow instated preventive measures and continue wearing masks, avoid gatherings, and stay away from things that can expose people to the virus.
The committee also urged people to intensify vaccine administration through the allocated vaccination centers across the country and to adhere to the regulations issued by the Ministry of Interior and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA), of following all preventive and precautionary measures to ensure the maintenance of public health.
