Sharjah Municipality (SM) has opened a drive-through COVID-19 testing tent in the 5th Industrial Area for the ease of community members. This drive-through PCR testing tent has been opened as part of the authority's efforts to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the region.

The new tent is aimed at providing necessary testing services to the public in an easier and speedy manner. The testing centre will be providing results to the customers within 6 hours at the cost of only AED50.

According to the Sharjah Municipality, the new tent is the largest drive-through testing centre in the Emirate. It has the capacity to accommodate 16 vehicles at a time with the aim of conducting a large number of tests during operating hours.

The tent is open to customers from 7:30 until 23:00 on all days of the week.

Authorities urge all community members to get themselves tested for COVID-19 in case of any symptoms in order to combat the pandemic and ensure rapid recovery from its repercussions.
