The Sharjah emergency, crisis, and disasters management team (ECDMT) have updated COVID-19 testing procedures for all passengers arriving at the Sharjah International Airport. As per the updated protocols, passengers flying to the Sharjah airport are required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result that is taken no earlier than 72 hours before the date of boarding the flight.
Earlier, the requirement of the test results was up to 96 hours. At the same time, passengers will have to undergo another PCR test upon arrival at the Sharjah airport.
