The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company’s (SEHA) has announced that its COVID-19 Drive-Through Screening Centre at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi will be closed down permanently. According to a statement issued by the health provider, people willing to undergo COVID-19 testing or get their vaccinations can continue to book appointments at other SEHA COVID-19 drive-through centres.

The service provider has affirmed continuous healthcare facilities at 24 other screening centres across the UAE, including six in Abu Dhabi.

Notably, it is seen as a positive development with the UAE witnessing decreasing number of COVID-19 cases in recent weeks. The UAE authorities continue to ensure all possible measures to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
