Response Plus Holding (RPM), the UAE’s largest provider of healthcare services and subsidiary of ADX-listed Alpha Dhabi Holding, has announced its expansion in the UAE with the opening of a new Dubai branch of Health-Tech Training. It will be renowned as the leading medical and non-medical training centre in the country.
RPM’s new centre is aimed at providing BLS, ACLS, and PALS first-aid courses at affordable market rates. Notably, the Health-Tech Training centre has received accreditation for being the first and only establishment to offer the Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course as well as All-Hazards Disaster Response (AHDR) course. Both these are accredited by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and recommended for all pre-hospital care providers, including doctors, nurses, EMTs, and paramedics.
American Health and Safety Institute is working in partnership with the Health-Tech Training centre, approved by Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services. The primary objective of the initiative is to enhance teaching methods and improve learning among participants with the provision of expert support to facilitate professional development.
Major Tom Louis, CEO of Response Plus Holding, said that the growing demand in the global market for health services has accelerated the need for comprehensive support of medical and non-medical training is essential.
"RPM is readily prepared to supply expert resources to train the community with tailored and accredited courses. We are firmly established in Abu Dhabi, training 25,000 candidates annually, and excited to pave the way as an industry leader with even greater numbers across the UAE and internationally, in line with our expansion strategy," Major Louis added.
Founded in July 2014, Health-Tech Training is accredited by the prestigious American Heart Association, Highfield as well as the European Resuscitation Council, NAEMT. It offers specific courses with a hands-on approach to the application of the latest technology and learning tools. The new branch aligns with the strategic plan to further expand additional centres across the UAE and internationally in regions such as Cochin (India), Dammam (Saudi Arabia), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), and Muscat (Oman).
