The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) presented prominent healthcare services for medical tourists at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2022.
The Abu Dhabi Healthcare Sector Regulator showcased major investment prospects in the emirate at ATM 2022, which was held from the May 9 to 12.
According to the state-run news agency Wam, the Department of Health joined the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi booth to showcase Abu Dhabi's latest therapeutic disciplines, world-class services, and excellent facilities to visitors and medical tourists.
"The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi is thrilled and proud to represent Abu Dhabi's leading healthcare industry at the upcoming Arabian Travel Market 2022," said Hind Al Zaabi, executive director of Healthcare Facilities at the DoH.
Al Zaabi added that with the UAE's smart leadership's continued support and guidance, Abu Dhabi may strengthen its status as a world-class destination for healthcare and medical tourism.
"We seek to better understand the demands of international patients during our participation in the Arabian Travel Market 2022," Al Zaabi said, "to assure the delivery of the greatest quality of treatment in the emirate of Abu Dhabi," Al Zaabi added.
The department also presented its Capacity Master Plan, which is intended to assist Abu Dhabi in meeting current and future healthcare demands, as well as provide and plan investment opportunities in the emirate over the next two decades.
The medical tourism programme in Abu Dhabi is designed to give high-end medical services to travelling patients and ensure that they are well taken care of from the moment they arrive in the emirate.
The programme offers amenities like a flexible medical visa and on-ground transportation to guarantee that patients have a stable and comfortable recovery while still feeling at home.
