The United Arab Emirates has already started the vaccination drive for Covid-19 following which, the authorities announced that there is no need for staff who are already vaccinated to get PCR covid test at malls.
Staff working in shops and restaurants in Abu Dhabi can do away with going for PCR Covid test every 24 days if they have already gotten Corinavirus vaccine shots, confirmed authorities on Friday.
The Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi(ADEDA) announced through social media saying that the current rule is applicable for people working at restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, bakeries malls and shopping centres, butcheries, and retail units.
Other than this, PCR tests for those who did not receive the vaccination will remain mandatory and the establishments must bear the cost for every time the test is being done for the employee.
The department also added that Covid-19 vaccines are available for free for all the residents in the UAE at all the health centres.

On Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Prevention had announced that the Sinopharm vaccine will be made available in all the health centres for all the citizens above 18 years. Priority will however be given to those above 50 years and those suffering from some chronic health related disease.
The authorities assured that efforts are being made to vaccinate the entire community. It is to be noted that UAE’s way of handling the pandemic has been widely appreciated and as a country too, it has made into the list of nations who handled the pandemic most effectively.
