A new Covid service centre has been launched in Ajman that will accommodate up to 10,000 people per day. The centre is at Festival Land opposite Al Zawra Roundabout and offers Covid-19 vaccination, and also PCR and DPI laser testing services.

Mubarak Saif Al Ketbi, Director of External Sites at Tamouh Healthcare Company said that the new centre targets workers in Ajman’s industrial area. It will also serve the residents of Ajman and the northern emirates. He said that free Covid-19 vaccinations would be provided at centre, along with DPI laser tests for Dh50 and PCR tests for Dh75.

Al Ketbi added that centre has over 70 male and female nurses, operating around the clock. The number of staff will be increased depending on demand. 

DPI laser tests results will be available within three minutes, while results of PCR tests will be ready within 24 hours. In future the company will work on reducing that time to less than 12 hours, he said. 

Al Ketbi noted that people from any emirate would be served at the centre without exception. Centre will also accept people on visit visas who wish to take Covid-19 tests. The visitor's unified visa number can be entered on the system to obtain results via the Al Hosn app.
