A national survey is launched to assess how residents rate the happiness index in the UAE.
The National Wellbeing Questionnaire 2022 is comprised of dozens of questions to probe residents’ satisfaction of their lives in the country. The survey is open to people aged 15 years and above. Divided into four sections, the questions are based on demographics, citizenship, community and country.
It takes about 40 minutes for survey to be completed.
The questions ask for people’s opinions on everything – ranging from how the people rate their mental and physical health, satisfaction with their life as a whole, and even cost and range of government services.
Respondents of the survey are required to select answers revealing how optimistic they are about life, health, relationships and whether they are managing their finances well.
It further asks how much time people spend with their children and spouses each day, and if they are employed at a place with policies aimed to improve work-life balance.
The questionnaire is anonymous and the information is kept confidential.
“Please answer the questions based on what you really feel and do,” says a message at the beginning of the survey. “Your candid and accurate answers will help create a better life for you, your family, and the wider community.”
