In a phone call on Thursday with H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Colombian Vice President Marta Lucia Ramirez conveyed greetings of President Ivan Duque Marquez to President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Ramirez extended appreciative regards for medical aid extended by UAE to Colombia for helping bolster its fight to curb the Covid-19 infection spread. She further lauded UAE’s pledge of sending 50,000 coronavirus vaccine doses as the country’s humanitarian aid contribution for global fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Sheikh Mansour also had discussions with the Colombian Vice President regarding prospects of collaboration between the two nations in field of healthcare and also for accelerating bilateral investments in sectors of renewable energy. The leaders also discussed and reviewed various issues of concern regionally and internationally.
