Keep your eyes on the sky for the next three days as Al Fursan, the aerobatic display team of UAE Air Force takes over the sky. The Al Fursan teams will fly over several hospitals in UAE, from 21 June as a mark of respect towards the country’s healthcare team who have fought relentlessly against CVOID-19. And hundreds of medical professionals continue to keep Emirati nationals and the broader community healthy and safe as the nation fights back the pandemic.
Aerial saluting the doctors and their teams follow appreciation from the top of the country’s leadership. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, andthe Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has lauded the role played by the entire medical community since the breakout of the novel coronavirus.
Details of the aerial route of Al Fursan are –
- 21 June, Day 1: Flights start at 5.30 pm from Abu Dhabi - Al Rahba Hospital, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Zayed Military Hospital, Emirates Humanitarian City, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, and Al Ain Hospital in Al Ain will be covered,
- 22 June, Day 2: Flights start at 5.30 pm and include Al Dhafra Hospital in Madinat Zayed
- 23 June, Day 3: Flights will fly over Dubai at 5.30 pm, covering Kuwait Hospital. In Sharjah, flights will hover over Al Kuwait Hospital. In Ajman, the Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, Field Hospital will be covered in Umm Al Qaiwain. In Ras Al Khaimah, flights will fly over Field Hospital and Ibrahim Bin Hamad Obaidullah Hospital. In Khorfakkan, flights will fly past Khorfakkan Hospital, and Field Hospital and Masafi Hospital in Fujairah.
