Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is supporting Dubai’s efforts to overcome the coronavirus pandemic, in collaboration with the public and private sector to ensure safety of society and boost digital transformation for customers and employees.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, said DEWA is dedicated to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, of turning obstacles into opportunities. DEWA also collaborates with other government organisations to help protect the UAE’s global standing and reinforce it.

DEWA has also supported ‘Your City Needs You’ campaign which was launched by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.

During pandemic, DEWA offered Dubai’s health and social sectors with logistical support, along with many supporting the first line of defence.
