The Ministry of Education, UAE, has come up with 12 channels of communication with higher education institutions through the "Microsoft Teams" program. These channels will enable high school students to contact various institutes in the country directly. The students can communicate and learn more about UAE standards, Nabu tests, and other relevant tests for their further enhancing their knowledge.
Students can post their queries about joining them. They can also learn about various degrees and specializations offered by institutes. Another feature of these channels will allow students to find out the facilities available in colleges and what criteria are followed to enroll students.
These channels can facilitate remote meetings between colleges and students. Institutes can showcase their specializations.
The channels have the Emirates University, Khalifa University, Zayed University, the Sorbonne University (Abu Dhabi), the Higher Colleges of Science for Science, Fatima College of Health Sciences, the Abu Dhabi Institute for Vocational Education and Training, Abu Dhabi Polytechnic and Mohammed V University. A channel is dedicated to student registration, management, and Nabu. One channel offers details of external scholarships and while another has details of Emirates Standard (EmSAT) test.
According to the ministry of education, the department attempts to create a smart software where students can educate themselves about their college options, enrollment, courses offered, distance learning, and more.
The UAE Ministry of Education has undertaken series of initiatives to make students graduating from the 12th standard aware of the labour market situation, guide students to enroll in appropriate courses, and glitch-free transition from higher school to higher education.
