Al Hosn application was launched by the UAE authorities to take a check of all those who are getting vaccinated in the ongoing drive. It keeps your status up to date whether you receive one dose or both doses of the vaccines. But the last few weeks saw that there has been a glitch after some people complained that their application is not updating their status.
This led officials to address the matter and they encouraged the residents to take the matter to the managers of the application through hotlines. For the same, the Abu Dhabi Public Health Care( ADPHC) has rolled out steps for people who are in doubt when checking their status. This is being done with the Abu Dhabi regulator, Development of Health, in confidence.
The first step is to update the applications. These types of applications often have some bugs and to keep them at bay, frequent updating is required. If you have received both the doses of covid-19 vaccines, you should be able to see the letter E by now but if you still don’t see it, the one should contact Al Hossn application through 8004676, or call the Weqaya hotline at 800937292 for technical support.
But in case, you are unable to get connected for any given reason, you can go through a recording on the Weqaya hotline which you can reach through its social media platforms on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter or via WhatsApp on 056 3346740.
The United Arab Emirates has till now administered six million Covid-19 vaccine doses which means that the country is moving far ahead of the set deadline. The officials and the campaigns promoting vaccines have reached out to more than 46 percent of the target group and covered 61 percent of the elderly people.
The application in talks was developed last year with the aim to track residents for their covid-19 screening results and then the status of their vaccination was also added as a feature. This app also helps in tracking and tracing coronavirus positive cases.
There are certain things that people should be aware of about their vaccination status on the app. Al Hosn will update your status after 28 days of the second vaccine, so people who are having trouble after this, can contact the hotline.
For those who want to take the PCR test after 28 days, the application will show E on their window, and to maintain their status on E, people should keep taking PCR tests every seven days and the person should always get a negative result to see the E sign.
