The UAE and Seychelles have announced a safe travel corridor between nations for travelers who are fully vaccinated. This is based on recognition if vaccination certificates by both countries. The move is part of the UAE-Seychelles mutual efforts and cooperation towards the recovery from the pandemic.
As of 13th May 2021, the quarantine-free travel corridor between nations will make travelling easy for completely vaccinated people who hold vaccination certificates. These individuals would not be required to quarantine on arrival, while following all other Covid-19 precautionary measures in place in country. This also underlines leadership’s keenness to promote tourism between the two countries and achieve vaccination goal. This will in turn ensure the health and safety of population in both UAE and Seychelles, while preventing the spread of the Coronavirus.
Citizens and residents who wish to avail the quarantine-free travel corridor in both countries will be required to show documentation that shows they have received both doses of vaccine as per the approved certificates issued by health authorities. Travelers can also present PCR test results through these applications.
This partnership between the UAE and Seychelles is of prime importance amid Covid-19 led challenges. It further supports the efforts of both countries to fight and win over the pandemic.
