UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered that all those who have lost their lives to the Covid-19 pandemic will be awarded “Heroes of Humanity” medals.

The decision has been taken after the recommendations of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Head of the Office of “Pride of the Nation”.

The honour to fallen UAE warriors will be a recognition of the dedication and courage of frontliners, and also an appreciation of their great sacrifices for the country and its society.
