Districts and Villages Affairs Department (DVAD) has successfully concluded its campaign that was launched recently in collaboration with Ministry of Health. Under the campaign, that lasted for 14 consecutive days, free medical examinations were conducted to detect Coronavirus infection in people of suburbs of Emirate of Sharjah. The slogan of campaign was “Together towards Sustainable Health.”

The campaign rolled out successfully with massive turnout by people of Sharjah suburbs, and conducted medical examinations at suburban councils headquarters in Emirate of Sharjah. Total 8 suburban councils were conducted.

A total of 1,702 examinations were conducted under the campaign. This showcased the remarkable awareness among people who came with families to get testing done.

His Excellency Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) and Chairman of the Districts and Villages Affairs Department (DVAD), stressed that the remarkable turnout was a result of cooperation between the department and the Ministry of Health. Al Suwaidi further remarked on the appreciative efforts made by the suburban councils to make the campaign achieve its crucial national goal to help preserve the health and safety of its communities.
