Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management received the first dose of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday.
He took on to Twitter and expressed praise and gratitude towards Dubai Health Authority (DHA) for leading the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination campaign. He also lauded and thanked UAE’s first line of defence heroes “who continue to work with full dedication and sincerity”.
“The UAE has and will always prioritise the health, safety & security of its community”, he said.
Abdulla Al Basti, Secretary General of the Executive Council of Dubai, also received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer-BioNTech on Wednesday at DHA’s authorised vaccination centers. He too lauded the free comprehensive vaccination campaign launched by the emirate for all citizens and residents.
Humaid Al Qutami, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority too received the first dose of Pfizer vaccine. He noted that the UAE has always been a pioneer in keeping health of people as priority. He thanked the wise leadership of the UAE that “spares no effort” to ensure happiness and safety of its people.
