Under the leadership of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), a new 24-hour drive-through COVID-19 testing centre has been opened in Dubai's Qusais area. Al Nahda Centre will be operating an RT-PCR testing facility on 10th St, Qusais 1. At the centre, the COVID-19 PCR test is priced at Dh110 and results will be provided to people within 12 to 24 hours after receiving the sample.

The move has come in line with the UAE government's proposal to set up more testing centres to enhance the efforts aimed at curbing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The COVID-19 testing centre was inaugurated in the presence of senior officials, including Founder and Chairman of the Regency Group Shamsudheen Bin Mohideen; Regency Group CEO Nabeel Ahammed Mohammed; Managing Director Rizab Abdulla; Executive Director Rashid Bin Aslam; General Manager Shamim Yousuf; Director of laboratory at SRL Diagnostics Dr Uday Sudhalker; and Marketing Manager Prasad T.

In addition to testing services, the Al Nahda Centre at Qusais will also provide various government services related to Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Economy, Dubai Civil Defence, Dubai Public Notary, Dubai Courts, immigration application services to people in need.
