The Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection (CCCP) Sector in Dubai Economy has been conducting regular field to open markets and shopping centres across the emirate in order to ensure that commercial establishments are complying with COVID-19 precautionary measures aimed at containing the spread of the virus. Field inspectors from the CCP Sector on Saturday visited the open markets and shopping centres in the emirate to review the establishments' commitment towards the precautionary guidelines.
In a major achievement, all 454 business establishments that were reviewed by the inspection team during the field visit were found in full compliance with the necessary precautionary measures issued by the authorities against COVID-19.
Dubai Economy further lauded the efforts made by every individual in implementing the precautionary measures from wearing face masks to maintaining physical distancing to combat the spread of the virus. It added that it is evident that this approach will assist the authorities in ensuring business continuity and leading the emirate to safe shores while protecting the health and safety of the public amid prevailing threat of COVID-19.
Dubai Economy also called upon the public to cooperate and contribute to the efforts of the authorities in keeping the emirate's economy moving forward while the pandemic threat still prevails. With the implementation of precautionary measures, Dubai has seen a gradual and safe resumption of economic activities across all sectors. The emirate is moving towards an economic reset after months of pandemic-induced lockdown.
