Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has closed down the COVID-19 RT-PCR testing centre situated at the Mall of Emirates. Taking to Twitter, the DHA announced that the COVID-19 testing centre has been shut down in line with the dropping number of Coronavirus positive cases in the country.
With COVID-19 infections declining in the UAE, the need for testing centres has also been reduced. In this regard, the Authority is in the process of closing down a number of COVID-19 centres spread across the region and consolidating their services to fulfil the testing needs of community members.
At the same time, the DHA has called on all Dubai residents to check the DHA website www.dha.gov.ae for the updated list of RT-PCR COVID-19 centres operating in Dubai.
As COVID-19 cases decline in the country, UAE authorities are also easing several restrictions in conjunction with the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the authorities have advised community members to continue compliance with relevant precautionary measures to enhance the safety of society and support the ongoing achievements in the efforts against COVID-19.
