Dubai Health Authority has announced the closure of its One Central COVID-19 vaccination centre with effect from January 28. According to a tweet posted by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the centre provided vaccination to thousands of residents in the emirate in one year. Established at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the facility had the capacity to serve 4,000 visitors in a day.
Interestingly, it was established by the DHA within only 72 hours in January last year to provide vaccination to community members across the region.
A number of visitors posted good reviews about the centre, with speed and ease of services receiving praises by residents.
As per a Google review, the centre provided very fast services and had a friendly staff and security people.
“Organised and helpful staff, it took us not more than 5 minutes to finalise everything and take the third dose. Great service as usual and expected from the Dubai Government,” another review read.
Meanwhile, Dubai authorities continue to ensure necessary services to enhance the health and safety of community members against the COVID-19 pandemic. The authorities have also urged eligible citizens to receive their vaccination in order to enhance protection against COVID-19 and curb the spread of the virus.
