In line with the Government of Dubai’s efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services launched a COVID-19 screening testing room to be used at laborers' areas in Dubai, fully equipped with the necessary screening and testing devices and supplies to be used by a qualified team in cooperation with the Department of Health – Dubai. 

The room, which was equipped in cooperation with SAFECO, employs several smart technologies such as the self sterilization device to protect customers and healthcare workers, as well as a thermal camera. It is also equipped with Hasana data system for health statistics and an Emirates ID reader.  

This service will increase the efficiency of efforts and proactive measures to contain COVID-19, so that laborers can visit the room for screening instead of going out to seek healthcare in case of having symptoms.
