Abu Dhabi reported that its rate of confirmed coronavirus cases is now as low as 0.39% of total tests. On Wednesday, the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 1,214 new coronavirus cases from 114,653 tests done.

Furthermore, there were 742 recoveries and two fatalities reported.

In another significant development, Pfizer, the American drug maker and its German partner BioNTech have now entered an agreement with the European Commission to supply 300 million doses of their highly anticipated coronavirus vaccine.

Global Covid-19 cases tally has now reached 51.3 million, while the global death toll having crossed 1.2 million and recoveries of around 33.4 million.
