In a major move, the Ajman Media City Free Zone has temporarily cancelled all fines from renewal of lease contracts of licensed establishments in the Media City. The decision was taken by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ajman Media Free City, with the aim of supporting business continuity in the Media City. It will help the city's investors to recover from the financial repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With this decision, fines of those establishments which have not renewed their lease contracts have been waived off from April 18 to April 30. Al Nuaimi further underlined Ajman Media City Free Zone's commitment to tackling the negative effects of the Coronavirus crisis and its impact on investors' business continuity in Media City.

The development has come in line with the incentives launched by Ajman Media City Free Zone with the aim of providing assistance to investors to overcome challenges posed by the pandemic.
