Amid the ongoing efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in the UAE, Ajman authorities have launched an initiative to provide free PCR test services for members of the community at their homes.

With the initiative titled "We reach you for your health", Ajman authorities are aiming to protect the health and safety of the citizens and residents in the emirates against the COVID-19 virus.

Under the campaign, specialised health care workers will reach different groups of society at their homes in order to provide them COVID-19 PCR testing services. In this regard, the elderly population, people with chronic diseases and other vulnerable categories will be given utmost priority.

The medical staff has been directed to visit various residential areas across the emirate and conduct the PCR tests of members of the community with the aim of reducing the time and effort involved in personal visits to the examination centres.

As part of the initiative, Ajman's Crisis, Disasters and Emergency Team has called on all members of the community to cooperate with the screening team to ensure the health and safety of everyone and contribute to limiting the spread of the virus across the emirate.
