Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) continues to carry out surprise inspection checks at food facilities operating in the emirate during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Recently, ADFCA officials conducted surprise visits at restaurants and bakeries in Al Ain in order to ensure that businesses are complying with food safety rules and regulations along with COVID-19 precautionary measures.

During these visits, ADFCA inspectors highlighted the need for adhering to the best practices as well as food safety requirements and standards. Officials underlined the importance of following the highest safety measures in line with the authority's commitment to raising community awareness about the significance of agricultural sustainability, food and biological security. It will also help in thriving plant and animal health.

Furthermore, ADFCA has called on the public to report any infractions or malpractices performed by establishments in the emirate. They can reach out to the Authority and submit their complaints by calling the toll-free number (800555).
