Abu Dhabi updates green travel list to include Indonesia

Abu Dhabi authorities have updated the green travel list of countries and regions from where passengers are allowed to enter the emirate without the need to undergo quarantine period on arrival regardless of their vaccination status.

With effect from September 6, Indonesia has been added to Abu Dhabi's green travel list.

According to an update issued by Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee last week, quarantine requirement for vaccinated passengers on arrival to the emirate from all international destinations was removed. The committee further mandated all travellers to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result conducted within 48 hours of departure of their flight.

Vaccinated passengers from green countries are also required to take a PCR test on arrival at the airport along with another test on day six of their stay in the emirate. Meanwhile, for unvaccinated and exempt travellers arriving in Abu Dhabi from green list destinations, the authority mandated a PCR test on arrival at the airport and another tests on days six and nine of their stay in the emirate.

In addition, vaccinated passengers travelling from countries not on the green list are required to take a PCR test on arrival and another tests on days four and eight. On the other hand, unvaccinated visitors from non-green list countries are mandated to take a PCR test on arrival along with undergo a 10-day quarantine period. They are required to undergo another COVID-19 PCR test on day nine.
