Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DoH) has announced the provision of free booster doses of the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine to all eligible members of the community. The authorities have underlined that the booster dose will be given to all recipients who received their second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine at least six months ago.

Taking to Twitter, the Department of Health noted that the initiative has been launched as part of the continuous national efforts to protect the health and wellbeing of the community.

Furthermore, the free booster dose of the Sinopharm vaccine will be available via walk-in at over 100 vaccination centres across the emirate.

The authorities have encouraged all eligible members to receive their booster vaccine dose and contribute to the national vaccination campaign.
