In a significant development, the Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) has been given the Airport Health Accreditation by Airports Council International (ACI). This is a testament to the Abu Dhabi authorities' successful implementation of necessary health and safety precautions while addressing the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The accreditation demonstrates the high quality of precautionary measures implemented by the Airport in accordance with the recommendations issued by the International Civil Aviation Organisation Council’s Aviation Recovery Task Force (ICAO CART) along with the best international practices of the industry.
Abu Dhabi authorities ensured the best possible safety protocols to protect the health and wellbeing of all travellers at the airport during the pandemic crisis.
The Airport Health Accreditation is issued by the ACI on the basis of assessments of new health measures and safety procedures introduced by the Council in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic across countries.
