The Abu Dhabi Department of Health launched a new digital platform that allows medical personnel from all over the UAE to voluntarily provide support or apply for work in the Emirate's Medina sector.

Those wishing to help the health sector can register online through the portal and share their key skills and experiences that will be useful. 

Medical institutions, in turn, will be able to go to the portal, view the profiles of registered employees and communicate directly with them. Using the platform, institutions will be able to assign volunteers the right roles depending on their skills and preferred working conditions. The Ministry of Health appealed to all medical workers and staff who can offer their support for free registration on the portal, as well as for work on a voluntary basis.

The UAE Ministry of Health has identified a number of categories that will be useful in such a difficult period. These categories include full-time or part-time workers in a clinic or hospital in the region who are willing to work for additional hours, clinical experts, people who have received a medical license from the Dubai Health Department or the Ministry of Health and Prevention, retired workers health care providers wishing to return to medicine, volunteers licensed to work in the health sector, and volunteers wishing to obtain a license to practice medicine in A at Dhabi.

“In accordance with the Ministry of Health’s vision to continue working to ensure the provision of comprehensive, continuous and timely medical services to local residents and residents in Abu Dhabi, we have created a platform for volunteers that provides an opportunity for medical staff who wish to supplement these volunteers with their time and experience” “said Dr. Jamal Al-Qa'abi, Acting Deputy Minister of Health.

“We look forward to providing the public with all the necessary support as part of our preventive plans to ensure that the local sector remains fully committed to responding to the proliferation of COVID-19,” he added.
