Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has announced that free COVID-19 vaccines are available for every individual with an expired residency visa or expired entry visa in the emirate. The committee reminded that free vaccines will not be available to those individuals holding valid tourist or visit visas.

Taking to Twitter, the committee reiterated that the decision has been taken to ensure the health and safety of all community members in Abu Dhabi in line with the exceptional circumstances created by the pandemic crisis.

"Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has issued a reminder that free Covid-19 vaccines are available to everyone with an expired residency visa or expired entry visa, which does not include holders of valid tourist or visit visas," the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office said in a tweet on Thursday.
