Abdullah bin Zayed, Estonian FM review bilateral ties, global fight against COVID-19

 H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation had a video conference call today with Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Urmas Reinsalu. The ministers discussed the bilateral ties between the countries in relation to sectors of technology, medicinal fields and food security.

The diplomats also discussed the coronavirus latest developments and the fight of both countries to combat the COVID-19 pandemic spread.

Sheikh Abdullah and Reinsalu stressed on the importance of the ally countries supporting each other in their fight against the pandemic by the exchange of expert research and of adopting the latest testing methods. The importance of cooperating and stepping up the collaboration with international organizations was also stressed upon.

Support Estonia extended to Expo 2020 Dubai was lauded and appreciated by Sheikh Abdullah. He further added that he is looking forward to participation of Estonia in this mega event to be hosted by UAE next year.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed specifically highlighted the strong friendship shared by UAE and Estonia and the shared aspiration of both the countries to enhance their bilateral ties for benefit of both the nations.
