Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, recently held discussions with Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Djibouti on ways to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries on several fields.
The discussions were held during a telephonic conversation during when the two ministers also reviewed various regional and global issues of common interest. They also held talks on the ongoing developments in the fight against Coronavirus pandemic in both the countries and the efforts taken by their leadership in containing the impact of the virus on the community. The two ministers also laid emphasis on the need to support global research efforts for the development of a viable vaccine against COVID-1`9.
During the talks, Sheikh Abdullah praised the developing relations between the UAE and Djibouti, highlighting the humble aspirations of both the countries to further boosting the cooperation and coordination between them.
